Information You Submit
Terms Entered in Search
A name, place, or other detail entered in a search tool is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Parker County Released Inmates does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages Sent to Us
If you send an email or use a contact form, the message and contact details are retained as needed to answer you. We do not share that correspondence outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Technical Data Collected Automatically
Standard technical records may be created when a page loads. These records help operate and understand site traffic and can include:
- the internet protocol address used for the visit;
- browser name and version;
- device category and operating system;
- pages viewed and time spent on them;
- the referring website, when supplied; and
- the date and time of each request.
Cookie Use
Cookies may be used to measure how visitors move through the site and to support site functions. You can block or remove cookies through browser controls, although some features may then work differently.
Reasons We Use Data
Collected information supports a limited set of operational purposes:
- keeping pages available and responsive;
- sending search requests to the selected partner service;
- learning which resources visitors find useful;
- detecting and correcting technical faults; and
- displaying advertising that may reflect visitor interests.
Services Beyond Our Website
Links may lead to Parker County release records, Sheriff and TDCJ resources, federal locators, government portals, or third-party search tools. Once you leave, the destination's privacy policy controls its collection and use of information.
Advertising providers may use their own technology to measure activity across websites and select interest-based ads. That processing occurs on their systems, not ours.
Parties That May Receive Data
We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be provided to:
- search partners that process a submitted query;
- analytics providers that measure use;
- advertising networks that deliver ads; and
- law-enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal order.
How Information Is Safeguarded
We use customary safeguards intended to protect information in our control. No website, network, storage system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure, so we cannot promise that a breach will never occur.
Visitors Younger Than Eighteen
The site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under eighteen. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information may use the Contact Us page to request its deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on the information held and applicable law, you may ask to:
- receive a copy of personal information we maintain;
- correct information that is inaccurate;
- delete personal information; or
- opt out of certain forms of processing.
Changes to This Notice
We may revise this Privacy Notice as practices or services change. A revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
