Parker Jail Release Search
The Sheriff's Jail Search instructions lead to the official Jail & Bond Records system. Use the first and last legal name used at booking. The Sheriff permits an asterisk wildcard, but at least the first initial is required. The tool is framed as a current-jail check, not a historical release archive, and the new records software removed date searching.
If the person is absent, call the booking desk at 817-594-4208. Ask one narrow question: does the person remain at Parker County Jail, leave on a community release, or transfer to a named custodian? Then request the written booking-and-release record. A transfer to TDCJ, another jail, USMS, or ICE ends Parker's physical custody without placing the person in the community.
- Search the booked legal name through the official jail gateway.
- Repeat with the supported wildcard if spelling may differ.
- Call the booking desk and ask for release versus transfer.
- Request release date, time, type, and destination in writing.
- Read the related Parker court case for the legal disposition.
- Use VINE when a participating custody-change alert is needed.
Parker Jail Contact and Entrance
Parker County Jail is at 612 Jameson Street in Weatherford. The main jail entrance is at Jameson and North Mill, across from the Sheriff entrance. That physical location differs from the Sheriff's administrative Public Information Act address at 129 Hogle Street. Use the jail entrance and booking number for custody and immediate release logistics; use the Hogle address for a formal written records request.

The Sheriff describes the office as operating around the clock. That statement does not show that every records function is staffed at all hours. Call before traveling when the question concerns a late release, property, or where to meet someone.
Parker Jail Operator History
Parker County Sheriff retains the governmental role for the county jail, while Southwestern Correctional LLC, doing business as LaSalle Corrections, performs daily management under contract. The official jail page says LaSalle has managed daily operations since 2007 and lists Warden Ron King. Parker County Commissioners Court minutes from September 9, 2024 document the jail-management award to the same contractor.
This distinction matters for records and release authority. Daily operation by a contractor does not transfer the Sheriff's published Public Information Act role, and the operator does not replace the court that sets bond or enters a sentence. Direct formal booking, release, and photo requests through the Sheriff's records process. Use the court record for the order behind an event.
The Commissioners Court minutes provide the contract record. They support the operator history, not a claim that the contractor alone decides who is released.
Parker Jail Exit Destinations
Release type matters more than a bare date. A bond release means the custodian accepted the legal basis for release while the case generally continues. Bond merely being set does not prove it was posted or that jail processing finished. Time served can reflect completion of ordered confinement. A dismissal, acquittal, or court order has another basis.
| Jail departure | What to verify | Next record |
|---|---|---|
| Bond or court release | Posting, release time, other holds | Parker court docket and release sheet |
| Time served | Sentence completion and jail credit | Judgment and release record |
| Community supervision | Court conditions and CSCD intake | Parker CSCD and sentencing case |
| TDCJ commitment | Receiving state facility | TDCJ offender search |
| Another county, USMS, or ICE | Named receiving agency | Receiving custodian's official channel |
A detainer is a hold or request by another authority. It can cause the person to leave Parker County Jail in custody. Always request the destination field so a jail departure is not mislabeled as release to the community.
Request Parker Jail Release Records
Parker County Sheriff accepts written Public Information Act requests by email, mail, fax, or in person. The published custodian is April Little, Parker County Sheriff's Office, 129 Hogle Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086. Email april.little@parkercountytx.com or fax 817-594-7809, Attention April Little. Telephone calls can answer an operational question but are not formal PIA requests.
Provide the legal name, date of birth, booking number if known, and a narrow arrest or booking range. Ask for public portions of booking date and time, release date and time, release type or authority, charge and bond information, and destination or receiving agency. Request the booking photo as a separate item. These are requested fields, not a promise that every field exists or can be disclosed.
The Sheriff states that an estimate is required when charges exceed $40. Its page also says the office will send notice of a reasonable production date when records cannot be produced within ten business days. That does not make ten business days a universal delivery deadline. Texas Government Code Chapter 552 permits lawful exceptions, redaction, and an Attorney General ruling process.

Parker Jail and Court Records
The county's Judicial Records Search gateway separates court Smart Search from Jail & Bond Records. That split is useful. The jail record addresses physical custody, while the court docket supplies bond actions, charges, dismissal, plea, judgment, or sentence. Neither should be forced to answer the other's question.
District Clerk holds district and felony cases. County Clerk handles County Courts at Law. A municipal defendant arrested on a Weatherford warrant is transported to Parker County Jail, so both the city case and county booking may matter. Weatherford also offers a voluntary safe-harbor route that can resolve a warrant without a booking, making the lack of a jail record a possible correct result.
Read events in time order. A dismissal may precede release when another hold remains. A bond order can precede posting and jail processing. Conversely, release can occur while the criminal case stays open. Pair the case event with the actual release record.
Parker Jail Physical Release Logistics
No official routine release time, public waiting area, pickup gate, transportation instruction, holiday schedule, or property-return policy was found. Do not promise that a person will leave at a set hour. Call the booking desk for current instructions and confirm the approved meeting point before travel.
Weatherford Police policy adds a local timing distinction for qualifying family-violence matters. It recognizes victim notification and a four-hour post-bond hold, with possible magistrate extension under the cited Texas procedures. Thus bond set, bond posted, and physically released can be three separate milestones.
The supported entrance detail is precise: the main jail entrance is at Jameson and North Mill, across from the Sheriff entrance. The 129 Hogle address belongs to records administration, not the jail visitor entrance. Keeping those addresses distinct prevents a release pickup question from being routed to the records custodian.
Parker Jail Search Limits
Parker County has no verified official rolling 24-hour or 72-hour released-person feed, no verified sheriff jail app, and no published online retention period. The static official pages do not promise a booking photo field or an update cadence. A live-search disappearance may reflect release, transfer, a name mismatch, system timing, or a lawful record restriction.
Texas VINE can add a time-sensitive participating custody notification. The Parker VINE inmate check explains identity matching and alerts. For a TDCJ transfer, switch to the state offender search. For federal or immigration pickup, use the receiving system. Never call a missing current record proof that no booking existed.
The Parker County released-inmate search and records hub covers the full cross-system path, including court and written-record fallbacks. Confirm each event with its originating office.
Parker Jail Identity Matching
Compare more than a name. Use date of birth, booking number, court case, charge dates, and custody dates when the public record makes them available. The supported wildcard helps with spelling variants, but it can also widen the result set. Treat a same-name record as a possible match until identifiers align.
A booking photo can support identity but cannot prove release, current custody, guilt, or case outcome. Request the specific photograph separately and pair it with the release sheet and court disposition. No verified public Parker release-photo gallery or sheriff jail app was found.
