Find Parker County Released Inmates

Parker County released inmates may leave the live jail search after a bond release, sentence completion, court order, or transfer. A Parker County released inmate search must therefore join the custody record with the court case and the system that received the person next. To search for Parker County released inmates, start with the county jail channel, then verify the event through a release record, court disposition, state corrections record, or federal source as the facts require. Parker County released inmates in Texas are not all in one archive, so the last known custodian determines the right route.

Parker County Release Meanings

A person leaving Parker County Jail can enter the community, but that is only one possible outcome. Bond, time served, dismissal, acquittal, a court-authorized discharge, or release to county community supervision can end jail confinement. A transfer also ends the Parker jail stay. It may place the person in TDCJ, another county jail, federal custody, or immigration custody instead of the community. The release type and destination are as important as the date.

The Parker County Sheriff is the county office responsible for the jail record. The court keeps the legal case history. TDCJ maintains state-prison and parole records, while Parker County Community Supervision and Corrections Department, or CSCD, handles local probation. BOP, ICE, and USMS sources apply only after a federal or immigration handoff. These systems answer different questions and should not be merged into one result.

Parker County Release Record Fields

The most durable county proof is the booking-and-release record for the actual jail stay. Parker County does not publish a complete online field dictionary, so each item below is a field to request, not a promise that every responsive record contains it or that every part will be public. A narrow request ties the person, booking, date, and event together and reduces false matches.

Requested fieldWhat it can establish
Booked legal name and identifiersWhich person and booking the record concerns
Booking date, time, and numberThe start and unique reference for the jail stay
Arresting agency and chargesWhy the booking entered Parker custody
Bond informationThe bond terms recorded for the case
Release date and timeWhen Parker physical custody ended
Release authority or typeThe recorded legal basis for departure
Destination or receiving agencyWhether the person entered the community or another custody system
Booking photographA separate identity record tied to that booking

A booking photo supports identity, but it does not prove release. Likewise, a bond entry or dismissal alone may not show the moment the person left the building. Another hold can remain. Match the jail event to the court docket, and compare a date of birth, booking number, case number, or other public identifier when common names produce several candidates.

Key distinction: “Left Parker County Jail” does not always mean “released to the community.” Request the release type and destination.

Request Parker County Release Records

The Parker County Sheriff Public Information Act channel accepts written requests by email, mail, fax, or in person. Telephone calls are useful for a current operational answer, but the Sheriff does not accept a phone call as a formal Public Information Act request. Send the written request to April Little, Parker County Sheriff's Office, 129 Hogle Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086; email april.little@parkercountytx.com; or fax 817-594-7809, Attention April Little.

  1. Give the booked legal name, date of birth, booking number if known, and a narrow arrest or booking date range.
  2. Ask for public portions of the booking and release record, including date, time, type, authority, and destination or receiving agency.
  3. Ask separately for the booking photograph. State that electronic delivery is preferred.
  4. Request an itemized estimate before costs exceed a limit. Parker Sheriff says an estimate is required when charges exceed $40.
  5. If information is withheld, ask for non-exempt portions and the legal basis for any redaction.

Texas Government Code Chapter 552 supplies the general Public Information Act framework. Section 552.021 addresses access to public information, while section 552.221 addresses prompt production. The ten-business-day period in section 552.301 mainly concerns an agency request for an Attorney General ruling when it seeks to withhold information. It is not a promise that every record packet arrives in ten days. The Sheriff's stated practice is to send written notice of a reasonable production date when records cannot be produced within ten business days.

Inspection may be free. Copying, delivery, redaction, and staff work can affect cost. Ask for existing records, not a new analysis or a legal conclusion. The Texas Attorney General request guide explains the state process when questions arise.

Clearing Parker County Release Records

Parker County provides a distinctive local route for carrying out an expunction order. Its expunction entity and contact list identifies the jail, jail.records@parkercountytx.com, the Sheriff records custodian, court clerks, District Attorney, and CSCD. Eligible people and counsel can use those exact recipients when an order requires notice or action.

Release or dismissal does not create automatic eligibility. Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Chapter 55A controls expunction, while Government Code Chapter 411 Subchapter E-1 governs orders of nondisclosure. Expunction can require covered records to be returned or destroyed. Nondisclosure limits public release in defined circumstances but does not erase every government record. Juvenile law-enforcement records also have separate protection under Family Code section 58.008. A missing online record must never be treated as proof that no booking occurred or that an expunction was granted.

Search Parker County Released Inmates

Start with the last known custodian. For a Parker jail booking, use the official Sheriff Jail Search instructions and follow the Jail & Bond Records gateway. Enter the first and last legal name used at booking. The search permits an asterisk wildcard but requires at least the first initial. Because the tool is framed around who is in jail, an absent name is only a lead.

  1. Repeat the name search with the legal booking name, first initial, and wildcard rules.
  2. Call the booking desk at 817-594-4208. Ask whether the person remains there, entered the community, or transferred to a named custodian.
  3. Obtain the written booking-and-release record, with release type and destination.
  4. Read the Parker court case for bond action, dismissal, judgment, sentence, or commitment.
  5. If transferred, move to TDCJ, BOP, ICE, another county, or the federal docket instead of treating the transfer as freedom.
  6. Use VINE or TDCJ IVSS for event notices, then confirm the event with the responsible custodian.

No official Parker County 24-hour or 72-hour released-inmate feed has been verified. The Sheriff says date searching disappeared with its newer Judicial/Records Management software. Current results cannot be turned into a historic release list. For a named person, use the sequence above. For a date range, request existing release records for the defined interval and accept lawful redaction and costs.

The Parker County 24-Hour Releases resource explains the same-day fallback when no official rolling feed exists.

Weatherford Bond Versus Release

Weatherford municipal-warrant arrests enter the county system. The city's warrant guidance says arrested municipal defendants are transported to Parker County Jail and must post bail or pay the fine before release. A voluntary safe-harbor court appearance may address a warrant without a jail booking, so no county booking can sometimes be the correct result.

Bond set, bond posted, and physical release are distinct milestones. Weatherford Police policy also recognizes release notice and a four-hour post-bond hold in qualifying family-violence matters, with a possible magistrate extension under Code of Criminal Procedure articles 17.29 and 17.291. Thus a posted bond does not always mean the person has walked out. Confirm the release time with Parker booking staff and the written record.

The Weatherford warrant page shows the city-to-county booking path.

TDCJ Parker County Release Lookup

Use the TDCJ Inmate Search only when a Parker County case led to state-prison custody. It is not a county booking archive. Search by the seven-digit TDCJ number or SID number when possible because an ID search reduces same-name errors. Name searches also accept last name, first name, gender, and race. Read the exact location, offenses, Projected Release Date, and parole-review language together.

TDCJ inputUse
Last and first nameBroad search when no state ID is known
TDCJ numberSeven-digit state identifier and strongest direct match
SID numberAlternate Texas identifier
Gender and raceFilters for narrowing a name result
Projected Release DateOutput to read as a calculation, not proof of exit

A projected date is not an actual release date. A favorable parole vote is also not proof that the prison gate opened. Before a Board vote, call 844-512-0461 for parole-review status. After a favorable release vote, call 512-406-5202 for physical-release status. The general TDCJ locator numbers are 936-295-6371 and 800-535-0283. A fully discharged historical record that is not public online may require a TDCJ Public Information Act request and the Parker court judgment.

The TDCJ Offender Information page describes its statewide search scope.

The statewide landing page is the correct handoff after a documented TDCJ commitment, not after an ordinary Parker community release.

Parker County Release Alerts

Texas VINE is the county-jail notification channel. Parker County Sheriff and the District Attorney both direct users to VINELink. Search the exact person by first and last name, add an offender or booking ID and facility filter when offered, and compare identifiers before selecting a match. A released or out-of-custody status may support a reported change, but it does not supply the legal reason or destination. Confirm those facts with Parker Jail.

For TDCJ prison and parole events, use the separate Integrated Victim Services System. IVSS can provide subscribed events such as parole review, release to supervision, discharge, and warrant actions. The DPS sex-offender registry is narrower still. It applies only to people with an active Chapter 62 registration duty and is not a general Parker release database. VINE does not replace the BOP Locator for federal custody.

Notifications can lag or fail. Save a registration confirmation, then treat an alert as a prompt to contact the custodian and request the release or discharge record.

Federal Parker County Release Records

A federal or immigration pickup can end Parker custody without creating a community release. The BOP Inmate Locator covers federal inmates released after 1982 and accepts a name or federal identifying number. A past Release Date with “Not in BOP custody” supports the end of BOP custody, but not a return to Parker County. Older prison records may require the National Archives.

ICE's locator is a current detention tool, not a full historic release list. Search by A-number and country of birth or by exact biographical data. A miss can reflect release, transfer, spelling differences, coverage, or another cause. ICE FOIA is the durable record route. USMS has no comparable long-term public locator for federal pretrial custody, so use the federal docket, BOP when applicable, and USMS FOIA.

Parker Release Records Authority

Parker County Sheriff retains the county's governmental role, while Southwestern Correctional LLC doing business as LaSalle Corrections performs daily jail management under contract. The jail page traces LaSalle's operation to 2007, and September 9, 2024 Commissioners Court minutes document the management award. The operator handles day-to-day work, but it is not the published Public Information Act custodian.

Send formal release-record requests through the Sheriff's official route. Call the jail booking desk for real-time custody and transfer questions. This split prevents a request from being sent to a generic corporate contact when Parker County is the government body that holds the public-record duty.

Where Parker Release Records Appear

The correct source changes with custody status. A live roster is most useful while someone remains confined. A release sheet and court docket become more important after county custody ends. State and federal systems begin only after a documented handoff.

Why did a name vanish? A community release is one possibility. A transfer, name mismatch, online delay, system change, or lawful record restriction can produce the same visible result. Direct confirmation controls.

Parker County Release Facility

Parker County Jail / Parker County Justice Center is the only substantiated local detention facility in the county map. It is at 612 Jameson Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086. The main entrance is at Jameson and North Mill, across from the Sheriff entrance. The booking desk is 817-594-4208.

A person may leave for the community, TDCJ, another jail, USMS, or ICE. Confirm the destination before selecting a new locator. No separate Weatherford public jail, TDCJ prison, federal prison, or ICE detention center was substantiated as physically located in Parker County, so statewide and federal sources are transfer routes rather than extra county facilities.

Note: No official Parker routine release time, pickup gate, holiday schedule, waiting area, or property-return policy was found; ask booking staff about current logistics.
