Parker Parole and Probation
Parole follows a Texas prison term. The Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles decides whether an eligible person may leave prison under supervision, while the TDCJ Parole Division supervises that person after release. Probation, called community supervision in Texas, is imposed by a court and administered locally by Parker County Community Supervision and Corrections Department. A probationer may never have entered TDCJ custody.
The distinction changes what a record proves. A favorable parole vote is not a physical exit record. A Parker court order placing someone on probation does not state the exact hour the jail completed release processing. Use the jail record for the exit event, the court case for the sentence, and the correct supervision agency for current status.

- Parole
- Conditional release from prison while part of the sentence remains.
- Probation
- Court-ordered supervision in the community, known in Texas as community supervision.
- Discharge
- The end of the sentence or supervision obligation shown by the governing record.
- Absconder
- A supervised person who fails to report and cannot be located.
Verify Parker Post-Release Supervision
Begin with the last confirmed custodian and sentence. Parker County Jail, TDCJ, and Parker CSCD do not share one public status database. Matching an identifier matters more than finding a similar name.
- Read the Parker court case for the judgment, sentence, and whether community supervision was ordered.
- For a TDCJ sentence, use the TDCJ Inmate Search with a TDCJ or SID number when possible.
- Check parole-review information, but preserve its exact wording. A projected date or vote is not an actual release.
- Before a vote, call 844-512-0461 for Board review status. After a favorable vote, call 512-406-5202 for physical-release status.
- For local probation, contact Parker CSCD and use the sentencing case to confirm the court conditions.
- For historical proof, request the TDCJ discharge record or Parker supervision record from its originating agency.
The Parker County released-inmate search and records coverage explains how to pair those supervision findings with the county release sheet. That two-record method prevents a supervision entry from being mistaken for the jail's physical-release time.
Parker Probation Intake Process
The Parker County CSCD gives unusually clear local intake steps. A newly sentenced person reports immediately, completes an officer interview, reviews and signs the court's conditions, receives a caseload assignment generally based on residence and risk, and then receives reporting instructions. This sequence supports probation status, but it does not replace the jail release record.

The official Parker CSCD screen shows the local office and its community-supervision role. Open the Parker County CSCD source before using the contact details.

The office information is relevant to county probation, not TDCJ parole or the booking desk's release confirmation.
Parker Supervision Violations
Conditions come from the court in a probation case and from the state parole process in a parole case. They may include reporting and other case-specific duties. Failure to report can lead to sanctions or a warrant, but an alleged violation does not itself show that supervision ended. An absconder remains subject to the sentence and supervision authority.
No verified statewide public parole-absconder name list or Parker County absconder list was found. Confirm the status with the supervising agency. TDCJ's separate Integrated Victim Services System can provide subscribed parole, warrant, release-to-supervision, and discharge events. County VINE and the DPS registry do not function as general absconder databases.
Parker Supervision Discharge Records
Supervision ends when the governing authority records a discharge or other lawful termination. TDCJ defines discharge separately from parole and mandatory supervision. Parole or mandatory supervision permits a person to serve a remaining portion outside prison; discharge ends the sentence obligation represented by that record. Parker probation ends under the sentencing court and CSCD process.
Public search visibility is not guaranteed forever. For state records, direct a written request to TDCJ Public Information and ask for release, discharge, status history, and time-calculation records. For probation, retain the Parker court docket and request the supervision record from the proper local custodian. Texas Government Code Chapter 552 governs public-information access, subject to lawful exceptions.
Parker Parole File Review
Ordinary Texas parole and mandatory-supervision decisions are file reviews, not formal public hearings with an offender-by-offender public calendar. TDCJ identifies initial cases before eligibility, an Institutional Parole Officer prepares material, and a three-member panel votes. Two matching votes decide the case. A split goes to the third voter.
Decision codes require care. FI-1 may authorize release when eligible. FI-2 points to a future date, while several FI codes require a transfer or program first. Denial codes may set another review or require service of the remaining term. Even approval can be withdrawn if new facts arise. The Board review description and vote options should be read before describing status.
The Board source illustrates why a vote and a gate release are separate events. View the official parole review page.

After a favorable vote, the Parole Division release-status line remains the correct direct check.
Parker Supervision Record Clearing
Parker County publishes an entity list that names the jail records contact, Sheriff's records custodian, clerks, District Attorney, and CSCD. It gives an eligible person or counsel concrete recipients for an expunction order. Eligibility does not arise merely because a case ended or a person completed supervision.
Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Chapter 55A governs expunction. Nondisclosure under Government Code Chapter 411 Subchapter E-1 is different and limits public disclosure under defined conditions without erasing every government record. Use the Parker County entity list only after the order identifies which agencies must act. A missing online result is not proof that an order exists.
Parker Supervision Record Chain
Three records may be needed to document the full sequence. The Parker jail release sheet establishes the end of county custody and should state the release type or receiving agency when that public field exists. The Parker Judicial Records Search supplies the judgment, bond action, sentence, and later court events. The supervising agency then establishes parole or probation status.
Chronology prevents a common error. A probation order may be signed before release processing ends. A Board vote may precede a prison exit by weeks or may require a program. A discharge entry occurs at the end of the sentence obligation, not at the first day of supervision. Save each exact date and source rather than combining them into one broad release label.
For a written state record, identify the person by full name and TDCJ or SID number when known. Ask TDCJ Public Information for release, discharge, supervision-status history, and time-calculation records. For the county event, follow the Parker Sheriff open-records process. A narrow request reduces mistaken identity and cost.
Parker Supervision Notifications
Notification systems provide event leads, not final legal records. Texas VINE is the county-jail alert layer. IVSS is the TDCJ prison and parole layer and may offer subscribed notice of parole review, release to supervision, discharge, and warrant action. Use the system tied to the last custodian.
When an alert arrives, preserve the event wording and time, then call the correct office. A Parker VINE message should lead to the booking desk and release sheet. An IVSS parole event should lead to the TDCJ status line or public-information record. Failure to receive a notice does not prove custody continued because enrollment, delivery, and agency data can vary.
The Texas DPS registry is narrower. It applies only when a person has a Chapter 62 registration duty. Registry presence can show a continuing registration record, but it does not prove a recent Parker County jail release or the current parole office. Absence is equally unsuited to proving discharge.
Parker Parole Agency Contacts
TDCJ Parole Division is the statewide supervising agency after a Texas prison release. Its central office is at 8610 Shoal Creek Boulevard, P.O. Box 13401 Capitol Station, Austin, Texas 78711, with a public number of 512-406-5250. Questions about a supervisee's location or conduct can go to io@tdcj.texas.gov. Board review questions belong at bpp-pio@tdcj.texas.gov, while public-information requests use pia@tdcj.texas.gov.
Include the full name and TDCJ or SID number when known. Date of birth can help when an agency permits it. Do not send a local probation question to the Board or interpret an inability to disclose location as proof that supervision ended. Parker CSCD remains the correct local contact for court-ordered community supervision.
Agency scope also controls the meaning of a warrant. A TDCJ parole warrant and a Parker probation violation arise through different supervision structures. Search the related court case for a probation matter, then ask CSCD about the proper record channel. For parole, use TDCJ's current status and records process.
